Food is very good, it only takes about 30 minutes to get the menu, that food is another 60-90 minutes. For a 15 euro dish, you go home hungry and that as someone who doesn't normally eat much.

The dish might be big but we waited more than 70 minutes for ours! Food was over-salted and additionally, fish was burned.

We dined in restaurant 2 days in a row on our recent visit to Munich. Food was amazing and service was too although garden was full of guests. Yes, they had hard time to cope with all requests but by no means this spoiled our experience. Pauliner (local brewed bier) was like milk. Top recommendation for someone to experience old Bavarian style tavern with authentic food and atmosphere.

Founded in 1430, this restaurant has 3 large rooms and a garden. The Bavarian ambiance of the decor abounds in wood. Staff is quick, nice and helpful.

We have eaten a lot in this place due to our relocation. Bavarian food at a very soft price in a great ambiance. Service is super friendly, menu in English too. At this price they smoke the competition. Recommend the spicy "Post-steak" or to go on one of their "rib special days".

Boyfriend and I came here on a Saturday night. The restaurant wasn’t full but there were two large groups dining there. The staff was extremely overwhelmed with the groups so got our own menus and waited 20 min to place orders. They forgot the two side salads we ordered and gave my boyfriend the incorrect main dish. I got the pork knuckle which was cooked great and seasoned well. We also ordered an apple strudel and they forgot about it until we reminded them 20 min later. Finally when we got the bill they charged us for the salads we never got and spent another 10 min before coming back with a revised bill. Great food but frustrating service.

Quintessential German Gasthaus with traditional german food. Staff was very friendly and spoke English. Englich menu is provided on request. Food was fastastish and we were there during federweisser season. I'll be back.
